So....
I guess I have not been the best blogger! Not keeping up with it ahh! Last week Philip and I went camping at the Illinois river in Oklahoma. We had an awesome time. We got there and set up then went to walmart to get groceries and ice. For dinner we had chicken and vegetable foil dinners that I prepared raw beforehand and we cooked them over the fire. That night we enjoyed the sound of the river and crackling fire. The next day we made eggs and potatoes over the fire with bacon jam from home and toast over the fire. We went down and explored the river and went to some local shops. We planned on staying 2 nights but the weather was supposed to get bad so we came home and thank God we did because it stormed bad. Oh I never mentioned the best part! There were a pack of coyote really close to our tent howling away so we slept in the car when they woke us up ha. It was so uncomfortable but I am glad we were safe.

The best coffee house in the history of mankind!!!
So this past week my hubby, my mother and I all went to Guthrie Oklahoma for my mom and I's birthdays. Mine was Tuesday and hers was Thursday. We stayed 3 nights and had an amazing time! Mainly all we did was shop and eat, two of my favorite things! We heard about this little coffee shop from the man who owns the gorgeous bed and breakfast loft that we stayed at. The Coffee house is called Hoboken( what a cool name right?).We went there with no idea of how adorable and amazing this little place was, as well as personally inspiring to me. I seriously fell in love AGAIN!
They bake goodies every morning and roast and grind their own coffee. I got a delicious vanilla latte on the house since it was my BIRTHDAY!
Philip and I also came home with these adorable mugs from their coffee house!!!! Love!!!!
Check them out at http://www.hobokencoffeeroasters.com/ and follow their facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hoboken-Coffee-Roasters/134128146742321?ref=ts&fref=ts
Guthrie is an amazing little town so make sure to plan your next trip there and check out Hoboken!!!
This place was awesome. This beautiful couple spent a year learning how to make excellent coffee living in a tiny apartment sleeping on the floor. But I am sure that it was worth it because they have mastered the art of coffee to a T! They found this neat old place and created a gorgeous, relaxing and fun little joint.

I Want Junk Food!!
Hey ya'll.....
So Philip and I started our diet/lifestyle change January 1st and its been going good so far.
The only thing is, I WANT JUNK FOOD!!!!
It has actually been ok, we are really just trying to eat better and workout. I am trying to eat between 1500-1600 calories per day where I usually would eat at least 2200. Philip gets more because he is a man!!! Grrr.... Anyway, I am also trying to eat more fruits and veggies and smaller portions. For 4 days I have not let myself get full, only satisfied which is different. We are also trying to work out 30 min. 5 days a week. Also Tuesdays is our free day for dinner and dessert to reward ourselves for working hard all week. Excited!!! I am thinking shepard's pie! Yum...
My goal is to lose 60 pounds by December 25th 2013 and his is to lose 40 pounds by then. Wish us luck!
Basically for breakfasts I have had things like a turkey bacon english muffin with fruit or Cheerios with almond milk and fruit.
Lunches are usually a sandwich with pita chips or a salad and soup.
Dinners are whatever just in smaller portions and no fast food.
Be back later!
