So....
I guess I have not been the best blogger! Not keeping up with it ahh! Last week Philip and I went camping at the Illinois river in Oklahoma. We had an awesome time. We got there and set up then went to walmart to get groceries and ice. For dinner we had chicken and vegetable foil dinners that I prepared raw beforehand and we cooked them over the fire. That night we enjoyed the sound of the river and crackling fire. The next day we made eggs and potatoes over the fire with bacon jam from home and toast over the fire. We went down and explored the river and went to some local shops. We planned on staying 2 nights but the weather was supposed to get bad so we came home and thank God we did because it stormed bad. Oh I never mentioned the best part! There were a pack of coyote really close to our tent howling away so we slept in the car when they woke us up ha. It was so uncomfortable but I am glad we were safe.

Jo and June: Antique and Curiosity shop
After many days of trying to figure out a name for the shop we came up with Jo and June. Philip's great grandma's name is Jo and my great grandma was named June ( wish that was my name grr....).
The shop is in a small 1880's style shopping village full of antiques for the picking. The shop is a small little building at the front of the village and its so quaint. We have all kinds of neat things. We carry locally handmade items as well as antiques and vintage items and furniture. My husband and I find all of the antiques and vintage pieces and do some of the handmade items ourselves. Busy busy busy!!! I wouldn't have it any other way.
Here are some of the items that we make and carry at the shop....

Geeky Chic
Today I am under the weather! I have a sore throat and my head feels like it's full of gunk. Oh joy! Hopefully I will be better by the weekend! Today Philip and I are doing laundry and going to the store to get me some things to hopefully help me get well! But I am just sitting here doing laundry so I thought I'd blog! This is a super cute outfit that I borrowed Philip's cardigan for. I also paired it with leopard print flats and a grey and white splattered pouch to add something to it.

Stripes + Shadows
Hello! About a week ago my husband and mother and I went to Guthrie in Oklahoma for my birthday as well as my mom's. We stayed in an adorable bed and breakfast in a downtown building. We did tons of shopping and tons of eating!
I had mentioned this dress to Philip but he had never seen it. He knew how much I wanted it and surprised me with it for my birthday present! He is the best! It's now my favorite dress. I paired it with some polka dot tights and gold glitter flats.
